Great Day at the Office

Following our win on penalties in the cup the week before the lads were in good spirits going into this game, first half was somewhat quiet with both teams having some chances missed but around 30 minutes in a strike from Tommy 'Mac' McDonald gave AFC Surrey the lead going into half time. It was time for the second half and the team started off strong with a couple of chances, a free-kick was given and with a set piece that F&M must have been practicing paid off pulling them back into the game making it 1-1. AFC Surrey dug in deep to get straight back on the saddle with a goal from Callum 'Iron Lungs' Rolphe followed by another goal from Sammy D which should have gone down as an own goal but the team decided he deserved it and gave us a 3-1 lead in the game. With the final cherry on top coming from Danny P put the game to bed and the lads came off in high spirits ready to get back into it next week againest Cage United in which was a redemption game to make up for the loss in the first half of the season. #UTS
